Concordia University System

Concordia University is a comprehensive University that includes ten Concordia colleges and universities. Each Concordia is unique, with its own president and faculty.
At the same time, each institution cooperates fully in the various System features designed to serve students and faculty efficiently. The partnership among the Concordias in the System allows the development of innovative educational services which each campus could not carry out alone.

大学简介

Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) was founded in 1881 and is located in the Mequon of Lake Michigan that covers 155 acres. The school has well-established facilities, such as library, sports complex, swimming pool, green belt and an American football field.

CUW has a total of 38 departments that includes Business, Engineering, Law and Medicine faculty among others. The most famous programs are in Education, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Anthropology, Computer Science and Music. It also offers Master of Business Administration and Master of Education.
Students enjoy small class sizes with a student to faculty ratio of 14/1. With enrollment of over 6,500 students including more than 2,000 graduate students. CUW offers the personal attention essential to top notch education.

CUW is ranked Tier 1 “Universities - Master’s (Midwest)” in “America’s Best College 2009” of US News and World Report.

The 43rd President of the United States of America, George W. Bush was conferred an honorary doctorate by CUW during the May 14, 2004 graduation ceremony.

CUW共有三十八个专业系所。其中最著名的有：教育、商业行政、工程、经济、人类学、电脑及音乐等，同时亦提供工商管理硕士课程及教育硕士课程。

学生享有14/1的学生与教职员比例的小班教学。CUW为6,500名学生，当中包括2,000多名研究生提供个人卓越成长的优良高等教育。

在2005-2007年连续三年入选美国新闻与世界报导之《美国最佳大学》的全美最佳大学之一，于2009年中西部研究所全美大学排名一级大学。

第43任美国总统布殊于2004年5月14日毕业典礼上获CUW颁发荣誉博士。

On May 14, 2004, President George W. Bush attended the Graduation Ceremony of the CUW from the White House by the President’s plane. He was conferred an honorary doctorate from the CUW and became an alumni of CUW. His commencement address received warmest welcome from both staff and students, and also the attention and affirmation of the higher education institutes of the United States.

2004年5月美国总统布殊专程乘搭总统专机由白宫飞抵大学生参加毕业典礼，接受大学颁发的荣誉博士学位，成为美国协和大学校友，并发表全球议题专题演讲，受到全校师生热烈欢迎和全美高等学府之瞩目与肯定。
